Keeping users informed and engaged with CommuteHub does not require a complex communication plan.
The CommuteHub Communication Playbook includes ready-to-use messages for common situations, while automated Journeys can deliver timely reminders and encourage users to take their next action.
Start with a ready-to-use template
The playbook includes templates you can quickly adapt and share through email, Slack, Microsoft Teams, your intranet, or another internal channel.
Choose a template based on what you want to communicate:
- Launch announcement: Introduce CommuteHub and help users get started.
- Registration reminder: Encourage eligible users who have not registered yet.
- New-hire onboarding: Give new employees the parking and commute information they need from their first day.
- Social posts: Share quick reminders, program updates, challenges, and achievements through internal channels.
☝️Add your organization’s name, CommuteHub link, relevant app links, and contact details. If your organization uses a custom name for CommuteHub, replace “CommuteHub” with that name before sending.
Lead with what users can do
When adapting a template, focus on the features and benefits available to your users.
For example:
- Reserve parking before leaving home
- Manage a parking permit from a phone
- Log commute trips
- Earn available points or rewards
- Participate in a challenge
- Find a carpool partner
- Explore different commute options
A short, practical message is usually enough. Users should quickly understand what they can do and where to get started.
Let automated Journeys continue the conversation
After users register, Journeys can automatically send relevant messages based on their activity or important program dates.
Depending on your organization’s setup, Journeys can:
- Welcome newly registered users
- Encourage users to log their first trip
- Remind users about an active challenge
- Re-engage users after a period of inactivity
- Notify users about an expiring parking permit
- Recognize trip, points, or participation milestones
- Promote seasonal programs and campaigns
Once configured, Journeys run automatically. This helps keep CommuteHub visible without requiring managers to send every follow-up manually.
Some Journeys may already be active for your organization.
Automated Journeys handle much of the ongoing communication. You can complement them with occasional updates through your existing internal channels.
