Your CommuteHub program is live. Now comes the fun part, letting your users know it's there and getting them excited to join in.
A short announcement, a flyer in the right place, or a message in Slack can be all it takes to help someone discover a benefit they didn't know they had.
The good news is that you don't need to create anything from scratch. We've already put together a collection of ready-to-use marketing materials that you can customize in just a few minutes.
What should you tell your users?
Keep the message simple.
The two most important things people should know are:
- CommuteHub is available to them. Sometimes people simply don't realize their organization offers the program. A friendly reminder is often enough to encourage them to take a look.
- Getting started is easy. Joining only takes a few minutes, and once they're signed up, they can start using the features included in your organization's CommuteHub program.
If it makes sense for your organization, it's also worth mentioning that participation is free.
Everything you need is ready
All of our marketing materials live in one Canva folder:

Inside you'll find:
- CommuteHub logo variations
- Brand colours and other visual assets
- Ready-made flyer templates that you can customise in minutes
Most flyers only need two small changes before they're ready to share: your organization's logo and your own QR code.
Choose the right flyer
Every CommuteHub program is a little different, so we've created several flyer versions to match.
For example, some templates are designed for organizations that don't offer parking, while others are intended for programs without the mobile app. Choose the version that best reflects your setup so users receive information that's relevant to them.
If none of the templates are quite right, you can create your own using the individual assets in the kit. Feel free to write your own headline and description so the messaging feels natural for your organization.
Replace the QR code
Each flyer includes a placeholder QR code that you'll want to replace with one that points users to your own sign-up page or app download link.
Here's how:
- Open the flyer in Canva.
- Select Elements from the left sidebar.
- Type QR code into the search bar.
- Paste the URL you want users to visit, then click Create QR code.
- Delete the placeholder QR code from the flyer.
- Drag your new QR code into place.
That's all there is to it.
Add a personal touch
Before you share your flyer, consider adding a little information that's specific to your organization.
Your contact details are especially helpful. Someone who hasn't downloaded the app yet won't have an easy way to find your contact information if they have a question.
You could also add a short sentence about your program, such as when it launched or how it fits into your organization's commuting initiatives. A little context can help users understand what they're being invited to join.
Where to share it
Think about the places your users already spend time.
Some popular options include:
- A printed flyer in the garage, parking area, or break room.
- A digital version on your intranet or digital noticeboard.
- A post in Slack, Microsoft Teams, or another internal communication channel.
- Your internal newsletter or social channels.
- New employee onboarding materials.
Using a mix of printed and digital communication helps make sure users come across the program naturally.
A little effort, a lasting impact
Promoting CommuteHub doesn't need to become another project on your to-do list. With the ready-made templates, most of the work is already done.
Choose the flyer that fits your program, make a few quick edits, and share it where your users are most likely to see it. It's a simple way to help people discover and make the most of a benefit that's already available to them.
